First day of early voting today here.
As useless as voting may be, I still got to do it to cancel out one retard vote.
I picked "None of these candidates" a few times, and didn't pick any for many others. At minimum, I wanted to make the final two count: NO on Abortion and YES on Voter ID.
There wasn't an armed guard with plates this time around. (shrug)
NV has no special laws regarding "packing heat" at poll locations. Most of the normal polling locations are no-carry anyway, such as schools, not that I agree with that. That's why I always go out of my way to drive to a tent location. Technically, it would be perfectly legal for someone to open carry at such locations, because NV is a no-license open carry state, but I've never seen anyone do it. Probably a bad idea anyway.
I found it surprising that CO actually has explicit law allowing permit holders to carry at polling locations (with exceptions, of course).
I hope this was the last of the "mail in ballots for everyone" election. I explicitly went to their site and opted out, so I already don't get them. Waste of trees and more.
UPDATE: Never mind about CO. They passed new laws banning all carry. Not surprising. What is more surprising is that TX bans all carry at polling places. Purpleservatives.
"As a growth/value investor, I’d advise going long women here. The stock has never been lower. Sentiment couldn’t be more negative. Fundamentals are decent. Management is just catastrophically incompetent.
The board has been captured by HR. In fact, the entire enterprise is now just one big HR department. Classic corporate governance failure.
Thesis:
Women are a blue-chip consumer staple with highly inelastic demand. A once-great civilizational institution now being run like a nonprofit arts collective with a $90 billion DEI budget."
