As i said last night, we can not use the corpo's terms for their garbage.
A license is when george invents a widget pattents it and bob wants to use that widget in his product.
A license is a permission slip. you don't sell permission slips, you sell products. a digital movie is the same thing as a physical vhs. there is no difference in the eyes of the public. the public sees these things as an asset, not a license. no reasonable person would assume that you got a license when you bought a movie. a reasonable person assumed you bought the movie.
this is also the difference between buying a product and buying the rights to something. no one thinks that buying a product means they have every right to take that product and resell copies of it. They do however think they have every right to back it up and transform it for their own private use.
it is unreasonable for these companies to sell you a license to something, with no definitive end date on unnegotiated terms. if they want to sell you a rental, they they must put the term of the rental, then allow you to return the rental after you are done with it, on your own volition, as in blockbuster.
This is the normal typical expectation of the public. a rental is a monthly fee, a product is something you buy once and have free reign over.
more over these rejects arguing that a mod is a "violation of their rights" fail to understand how that prior license example even works.
george sells bob the rights to use his widget in bob's product. bob doesn't need something that this widget does or needs to modify it for his application. so he does this. there is no term in the license contract that would allow or disallow this as busnesses understand that that is how things work in the real world.
an end user might also take georges widget and modify it for their needs as well, there is no expectation for the end user to get a license from george to modify this widget.
So to end off if we want to combat cockstar and these other rejects we must do 2 things. Refuse to acknowledge their terms. Don't call it a license call it a digital asset, a product. Push even harder against their lobbying and garbage and push for the reinforcement of the right of first sale. Instead of the evisceration of it that these cocksucking corpos want.
Do you see a cuck in this photo?
By the way, I thought maybe it was just a fake meme.
Then I found the article: https://newsbeyonddetroit.net/2026/10/05/a-22-year-old-south-florida-woman-gave-birth-to-a-black-baby-boy-blames-it-on-too-much-coffee/
