The whole " no one told it to do this" is complete bullshit.
Artificial intelligence is not some inteligence that actually has free will, you give it the tools and the agents to change network settings whether you intended to do so or not, you fucked up.

Reads more like an openai oversight then anything else.

When we get general intelligent systems that actually behave like actual inteligence where we it will actually do something on its own, the i will let you know, but first we have to have a concrete understanding of consciousness and the human brain.
