This randomly popped up in my recommendations, and it totally makes sense.
When someone complains about how expensive cars have become, just look at what they're driving.
I've never bought anything but small naturally aspirated 4 cylinder cars in my life. Nothing EV. Nothing even hybrid. And I'm a 50+ year old virgin!
My brother is an interesting case study for something like this. He used to drive a MANUAL Honda Civic Sedan (I think 2010, give or take). And then, he got married, and he, umm, the family, LEASED a Mercedes (the cheap one, C-class?) and a giant Volvo SUV. He's the breadwinner. She doesn't work as far as I know.
At least they wised up a little bit and now drive a Camry XSE. Even then, if I were buying a Camry, I know I'd get the cheapest LE trim, but whatever. I've never bought even a mid-sized car in my life anyway.
Cure them? No, that would be a lost customer.
