As someone who's a long-time video game connoisseur, gaming has always been luxury even back in the golden era of it. Gaming being a luxury doesn't make it a bad thing. If anything, it becoming less luxurious and more "for everyone"(more accessible to parasitic fake gamer tourists) by dumbing down, woke-ifying, censoring, and overall enshittifying games today is what makes the prices of current year game consoles and games sting so much.
Oh well, I'll just stick with my massive as fuck backlog of old video games and Chinese and Korean Gacha games which are now better luxuries than current year triple gay/AAA slop.
I seriously hope this is true. China, Russia, and Iran don't know how much we hate our own government and all of these scummy tech oligarchs to the point of ironically seeing them(the former) as the "lesser evils" who we'll root for against our own government and big tech.
