Goyfag murrican sports fans getting overly defensive and butthurt that people are shitting on their hobbies the same way they've been shitting on nerdy/geeky hobbies for decades. As usual, they're projecting their typical grade school insults onto all nerds or geeks assuming all of us are just a bunch of unathletic dorks who can't fight our way out of a paperbag when there do exist legit nerds and geeks who used to play competitive sports and have martial arts backgrounds.
I know because I'm one of those geeks who briefly played baseball in high school, briefly competed in amateur boxing, and have a black belt in TKD. There are a few athletes I knew who are genuine gamers and weebs but no one would know because they usually keep to themselves.
While I prefer actually participating in sports, I have nothing completely against watching sports as I still watch MMA and boxing once in a while. I rip on murrican ball sports fans because a lot of them are typically smug and pretentious douchebags who are cringe with treating watching ball sports as a religion and a supposed measurement of "manhood" yet keep watching sports games ran by murrican pro leagues who make it clear that they hate them personally for their politics while ironically shitting on other people's hobbies as "cringe, woke, and gay".
If I want to get back into any ball sport, I'd rather just watch the Japanese pro baseball league(NPB) over murrica's MLB.
