I normally stick to cheaper cuts, but this was too tempting.

Costco had a big $50 off, no rainchecks, on normally $14.99/lb USDA Choice Ripeye in giant ~20 lb packages. Since it was a fixed $ discount for each pack, I picked out one of the lighter ones, at 19.57 lbs, to maximize the discount.

It came out to $12.435/lb, which is a very good price for ribeyes around here. Just looking at it while cutting it up was making me want to chomp on it. LOL

Cut them up to varying weights, from 9 oz to 19 oz. I can pick out smaller ones during my normal carnivore weeks (add bacon, eggs, cheese, etc.), and pick out bigger ones during my strict lion weeks.

Got to try the new chamber vacuum sealer, too. I tell ya, it's so much better than the suction type vacuum sealers.
