Personal whitepill here I guess. Following RGE's advice from a few months back, I have a "preservation" file server set up. 2 20TB HDDs running in Raid 1, with TrueNAS as the OS.
Working on skulking the net using the megathreads on piracy on Reddit with the goal of getting a backup copy of every game I've bought on steam worth saving (for when Gabe finally croaks, or Steam removes some hentai game I already bought), with a side of grabbing some anime I like.
I do need to find a site that has "free use" hentai games to back THOSE up, as they aren't showing up on the sites I've been to. Although if worst comes to worst, most of them are cheap enough that if I HAVE to buy them again it's not a huge deal. Definitely buying future cultured games off-site from Steam though. I bought into the "everything legal" bs from a few years back.
