[Multiversal waifus: the same waifu but different.]
So I had the thought earlier when I was going through my azur lane dailies and also on twatter. Those of you that have played for the past I think 3 years know of the META ships.
If I remember right the META girls are alternate universe girls where the sirens won and brought utter destruction up on the ports and shikikan, (not sure about the META storyline because I didn't really have time for it and METAs sre mainly focused on the mode so can't really say much) but it had tended to leave plenty of the girls either empty, mentally unstable or over all depressed and it got me thinking about multiverse waifus.
So pretty much the META girls being alternate versions of their Main Universe selves made me think of the harem aspect. When you have happy and peachy turn depressed and unstable it could make the interactions of the twos seem like two completely different people. Similarly to where they would probably be in compatable in a harem.
Taking away the difference in story you'd think that the same person they'd love they'd probably be willing to make some changes to adhere to the harem. Especially a main waifu. Some would probably be willing to change to accommodate for her multiversal sister. But I'd probably say some would have a bit of difficulty... especially along the lines of mental instability and let's not Even get started on the yanderes. It'd already be a bloodbath trying to get them in a harem the last think one would want to deal with is another themselves their "darling" would get attached to.
The ones that can get beyond the new bit of them being in a harem with someone's who is pretty much 100% themselves but is another person personality wise would then find themselves with a new question that also got me thinking after the adjustments and night battles happen. The kids would technically in a sense have a second mother. At least genetically.
That's where it would complicate things because as I said before, genetically the same even thought born of a different womb. But I guess that'd be where ethics comes into play, aside from that there would need to be some way of identifying them, separately. Which would vary between hair styles, accessories, Varying clothes and color codings. Either or, it's an interesting concept, and one that I found interesting.
