[Blind hope is the death of good men]

With the exception of sounding black pilled, humor me for a moment brothers.

As I was working this morning I had a thought about marriage after doing a little of my nightly anime binging before bed and the thought came to me at work.

Usually those that find themselves in marriage in anime tend to be good men (or some shade of) and how they tend to be likable especially if they are the MC. It rarely shows the guy being a full on dick or asshole that cheats (excluding hentai where NTR and is rampant).

It reminded me how on multiple occasions I was reminded how my boss had told me why I'm not married and I flat out told her as long as the chance of getting assfucked in divorce court is over 0% its too great a risk, same with the likely hood of getting cheated on.

Back to the topic at hand, the good guy who finds himself getting married is usually a hopeful idiot still stuck onto or raised on the old norm of the happy wife, happy life, white picket fence with two kids and a dog. They are either willfully ignorant or shielded from the truth and when she comes around saying she's not happy or he finds her in bed with Chad or Tyrone he loses that part of him that makes him "love".

With the exception of the marriages that actually work out. The divorce court, family courts are right on their way of killing the man's hope.

Usually it would immediately turn the man off and having him question plenty, "where did it go wrong? How could I not see?" And will either lead a man away from the hope he previously had or will lead him down the road to ruin. All it takes is mostly one bad divorce to bring a man to realize it was a bad deal and he will abstain from it. It's usually at the hand of the woman that fucked him over that turns him bitter and leads him down the road of just using the following woman for release (enabled female empowerment. Amirite?) Or just going the monk route and focusing on him. Finding a new lease on life and how his hope in finding happiness with someone needs to first start with him finding his own happiness within. Solice and contentment if you will, which is why so many men are finding it without wahmen, and boy as we have seen, it pisses them off when they fail at shaming a MGTOW.

See, he went in blindly with the hope that it would work out. As it does with politics, the slimey weasels that manage to silver tongue their way and the blind idiots follow only to find themselves being headed like the sheep they are,it often will turn them mad. Likewise with family that takes advantage of someone and does not reciprocate. Only keeps taking and taking with no expectation of returning and the person keeps trusting them.

The trust that is built and was hoped to be standing is shattered and it would either in the happy side, keep him a blind fool, On the real side it would piss him off and turn him off to helping or trusting others.

It leads to where a person would develop trust issues of anyone and they would be reluctant to help.

As we have seen with Daniel Penny and plenty of other captain Savahoes the blind hope of doing good and being seen as a hero for a stranger is one way to find yourself either at the end of a long litigation suit, or in worst case, imprisoned or dead.

With society being torn down day by day and being held together by duct tape the hope of it rebounding vs the inevitable collapse will certainly break plenty of people, but to us, those that don't hope blindly it keeps us on our toes, prepared for when shit happens and to always keep ourselves armed and stripped so we don't find ourselves another statistic.

Getting back to marriage, the hope and inevitable reality is the case of the Artificial Womb and waifubots. Where as society had given up on men and those that aren't blinded by the hope of finding a "good" woman. There lies the doll life and inevitably waifubots.

Another hope that can find itself getting lost is in the communal sense. As we saw with Murphy and the seminal order, as well as PUAs trying to lead men astray for monetary gain, there are other communities that draw men closer. Popp and the regiment, chronic and hammerhand with the Warband, joker and sandman, RGE and here. The community is partly necessary to help restore said man's hope, and return him to some degree of normality.

Be it he's stuck in the red or blue pilled rage phases, some discovery and moral revealuation can help a man either discover his way in life, where he was meant to go or a way to finding his peace, his solice. Many of us find it in religion, in waifus (2d superiority), or in the discovery of nature and exercise, and in the company of like minded brothers it helps reassure us that there is a little bit of shrouded hope in this cold dark world that can still shine bright in the dark, even though many can't see it.
