I've been pretty behind on Girls Frontline 2: Exilium, but so far, it's already becoming one of my most favorite games from current year after really getting back into it for the past few days and today.
It's like RGE said about many of these Chinese gacha games, it's absolutely sad and pathetic how current year AAA games, both from the West and Japan, have gacha-like monetization schemes(not even good ones at that, either as they're just typical live service trash) yet still charge you the full $60-70 price tags each, and have ugly-looking and/or censored characters and shitty storylines on top of that, yet these free-to-play Chinese Gatcha mobile and PC games are still able to provide fun gameplay, good-looking characters, and good storylines even without the gacha aspects. I didn't even need to spend any money on this game to already enjoy it, lol.
