So many people seem to be under the delusion that as the pendulum swings back, all these regressive corpos that have basically declared war on us will suddenly go back to being neutral and this will somehow save them. I'm here to tell you this is wishful thinking. They have to find some way to deal with the following problems...

1) They already chased away everyone to the right of Stalin. Those people are not coming back, and almost all of them already found alternatives and left the corpo that chased them away in the rear view mirror. The only audience they have left is the far left lunatics. If they try to move towards the center again, not only will they not get back any of the people they chased away, but they'll lose their only remaining audience. To be honest, their best move may be to stay where they are and just accept they'll always be a niche far left company and shrink their staff, budget, and future plans accordingly.

2) They are infected to the core with parasitic far left ideology. Nothing short of a Twitter style 75%+ purge can get rid of that. Even if they begrudgingly get less open about their hostility towards you, most of the people working there hate you personally and will take every opportunity to make it known. They'll get a LITTLE less overt about inserting their ideology into everything, but they'll continue to do it in more covert ways. That's already a big NOPE for me, even the slightest hint of wokeness in a product and I'm skipping it.

3) Maybe most importantly, going back to center isn't enough. We're talking people/corpos that have been actively attacking us for the better part of a decade, just saying "sorry, we'll stop attacking you now" isn't going to cut it. Unless they actively side with us in driving out everyone who was responsible for the attacks, I have no intention of bailing them out and continuing to put money into the pockets of corpos/people who hate my guts openly. But the likelihood of this is microscopic given points 1 and 2 above...

So basically don't count on woke corpos surviving much longer, at least at the size they are now. Sure there will always be consoomers, but as we see with Disney even THEY are starting to wake up and walk away. And once they're gone, they're gone for good.

So sit back and enjoy the panic as they stand on the bridges they burned trying to put the fire out, while we keep adding fuel and making s'mores. Also be prepared for the deluge of rats fleeing the sinking ship and trying to jump onto yours by pretending they were always on your side and just following orders.
