Let's recap... This industry:
1) Choked itself out with an over-saturation of live services (and numerous other anti-consumer monetization scams), each one designed to monopolize your time and money.
2) Made poor financial decisions because they'd rather pander to activist media and investors than customers.
3) Stuck by those poor decisions even when faced with the reality of plummeting software sales all around (yes I know a FEW games broke records, but overall software sales have been trending downwards at least on consoles. Why? Maybe see point 1 above...).
4) Picked a side (the losing side) in the culture war, drove away most of their paying customers, failed to replace them, and now that they realize their mistake are trying to "pivot back to center" as if they never told you to get lost in the first place. Sorry, but unless you go as hard FOR us as you did against us, we're not coming back. I'm done paying people who hate me, so you gotta fire all of them too.
